These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Forgotten Rites Publishing website at forgottenritespublishing.com and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these Terms.

Website Use
You may browse this site and place orders for your own personal use. You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in a manner not permitted by these Terms.
Product Information
We try to describe our books, editions, and prices accurately, but product descriptions, images, availability, and pricing may change without notice, including before your order is accepted. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue a product at any time.
Prices and Payment
All prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. We accept payment through the methods shown at checkout. Prices and availability shown at checkout are current only at the time of checkout and may change before an order is accepted.
Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. It is not automatically accepted. We may accept or decline any order for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud, pricing or listing errors, or unavailable inventory. If we decline an order that has already been paid for, we will refund the payment already collected.
Preorders
Some titles are offered for preorder before release. Payment for a preorder is collected when you place the order. The Bones Beneath the Maple releases September 4, 2026, and Standard preorder production begins on or after that date. Delivery on the release date is not guaranteed, delivery estimates begin only after your order is released for processing. Preorders must be placed separately from non-preorder items.
BookVault-Fulfilled Standard Books
Most Standard edition books are printed and fulfilled on our behalf by our print-on-demand partner, BookVault. All customer service for these orders is handled directly by Forgotten Rites Publishing.
Signed Copies and Personalized Items
Signed Copies and personalized or bespoke items are fulfilled directly by Forgotten Rites Publishing rather than through BookVault, and are final sale except where damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect, as described in our Refund and Returns Policy.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping times and delivery dates shown on this site are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays caused by production volume, carriers, customs, or other circumstances outside our control. See our Shipping Policy for full details on production time, carrier transit time, and tracking.
Event Pickup
If you select Event Pickup at checkout, you must choose a specific available event, and you must collect your order by the end of that event. Card payment and Pay at Event Pickup may both be offered. Card payments are collected when the order is placed. Pay at Event Pickup does not collect payment during checkout.
Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds
Our Refund and Returns Policy is part of these Terms and explains when an order can be canceled, returned, or refunded. Please review it before placing an order.
Customer-Supplied Information
If you provide personalization details, such as a name or message for a signed or personalized item, you are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit. We will produce the item to match what you provided. An error in your own submission is not a defect in the product.
Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, cover art, and descriptions, belongs to Forgotten Rites Publishing or its respective rights holders and is protected by US and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without permission.
Reviews and User Content
If you submit a review or other content to us or through our site, you confirm it is your own honest opinion, and you grant us permission to display it in connection with our products and marketing.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose, to attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or to interfere with other users’ ability to use the site.
