Forgotten Rites Publishing shows up in person. Both Donald Quill and D.R. Quill titles at one table. Come find us.
Spring 2026
April 25 — Fairy & Renaissance Festival
Veterans Memorial Park, Clarksburg, WV
Hours: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
The season opens here. Both brands will be at the table: Irish mythology fiction, nonfiction for practitioners, and D.R. Quill’s Viking romantasy. This is the first public appearance ahead of the Blade and Bone launch on May 1.
May 1 — Beltane / Blade and Bone Launch Day
Online — not a faire
The book launches on May 1, Beltane. This date wasn’t chosen for the aesthetics. It’s the great threshold festival of the Irish and Norse tradition, the night when fire travels across the land and the border between worlds goes thin. Watch BookTok and the newsletter for launch day content.
May 2–3 — Cape May Renaissance Faire
4H Fairgrounds, Cape May, NJ
Hours: 11:00 am – 6:00 pm both days
The first faire after launch weekend. Blade and Bone will be available in person here for the first time. Signed copies. Both brands.
Later in 2026
May 23–25 — Philly Faire, Fort Mifflin, Philadelphia, PA (11am–6pm)
May 30–31 — Maryland Mystic Festival (Saturday 12pm–12am, Sunday 10am–4pm)
September 5–7 — Bucks County Renaissance Faire, Moravian Pottery & Tile Works Museum, 130 E Swamp Rd, Doylestown, PA (11am–7pm)
October 31 – November 1, November 7–8, November 14–15 — Delaware Renaissance Faire, 474 Flemings Landing Rd, Townsend, DE (10am–5pm)
What to expect at the table
Both brands. Donald Quill’s Irish mythology titles (fiction and nonfiction) alongside D.R. Quill’s Viking romantasy.
I’m happy to talk mythology, Irish Pagan practice, romantasy, writing, or Renaissance Faire culture. That’s what the table is for. If you want to stand there and tell me about your own practice or your own writing, that’s genuinely fine too.
Signed copies available at every event. Cash and card both work.

The faire schedule can shift. New events get added. The newsletter is the most reliable way to know where we’ll be next.
